Christmas Decorating Tips

Hey there! My name is Lauren and I’m Christmas obsessed! I even worked as a corporate holiday designer for an interior landscape company for a couple years. During that time I accumulated an extreme excess of Christmas decorations and when the holidays came around, I put up everything I possible could.

Last year, we put our house on the market right before Christmas (not recommended!). I was forced to edit down my holiday decor quite a bit and found that I actually liked it better! Now I only put out things that I love or are sentimental. I learned that keeping it simple doesn’t mean that I love Christmas any less! It makes everything so much more meaningful.

One thing I love to do is take some items that are already around the house and add a holiday touch using things like greens, pinecones, berries, etc. This keeps things simple but still festive.
